chhayen. aryasatya ra samayak vaaniko
arthharu chhayinnan bhani dharana gari mithya
dristi utpann gareka ti kukarmako
pani prayaschit gardachhu
(I) atone for all sins having wrong views and thinking that the phenomenon of virtuous karma and sinful karma does not exist nor their effects: pleasure and suffering; (I atone for the wrong views of) past and future lives, noble truth and other right meanings.

Jeydang jyechug yirang shying
Mighe shyen yang jyisag pa
Dhedag malwi thollo shyag
jaani-najaani anya jati pani
akushal karmaharu gareka, garna
lagayeka ra garekoma khusi
prakat gareka ti asheys akushal
karmaharuko pryaschit gardachhu
(I) atone for infinite sins that I have accumulated, also other sins done knowingly and unknowingly; sins which I made others to do, and (I atone for the sin of) being happy because of the unvirtuous karma of others.

Bagthyag wangdu rabsong shying
Dweyon dugpo rabchwe de
Ngingme chwepar jyugpa shyag
6 indriyaharu klesha ra vashnako adhinma
pari rupa, shabd aadi 6 vishaybastu
upbhog garde nissar charyama matra
laagipareko prayaschit gardachhu
(I) atone for having entered into unsubstantial work of consuming the six objects of forms (form, sound, smell, taste, touch and feeling) due to mental seeds and the six sense organs falling into the depth of defilement.
144) shyemyang ngyonmong tongthag chhyir
Lemna chhog ghang sag pa
Dedag gwenpoi dungdu ni
Shyagshing dagpar jedu sol
anyapani kleshharu hazaro`n bhaykaale vibhinn
dusshkarmaharu sanchay gareka tiniharu nathako
agadi prayaschit gari suddha paaridin prarthna
gardachhu
Repenting before the Lord, for other various karma, which I have accumulated because of thousands of defilements, I pray to be purified.
145) lama kwen tsyog lhakhang dang
Netsen tensum lasog par
Pangdu tsechug nhashe kyee
Mighe sagpa thollo shyag
guru, triratna, devalya ra
mahatirtha, murti, pushtak ra stupaharulayi
sakshi raakhi kasam khanal jati akushal
karma sanchay gare prayaschit gardachhu
I atone for all unvirtuous karma accumulated by promising and standing witness in front of gurus, the three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), monasteries, holy places, the three Bases (Statues, Scriptures, Stupas).

Lamdang tsyoeten tsyoeje (chhyir
Jyinpei korje kupa dang
Ludee longchwe thollo shyag
sangha, viharaharu ra bato, stupa tatha dharmik
dravyaka nimti daangareka vastu choreka ra
chhalkapat gari upbhog gareka prayaschit
gardachhu
I atone for all sins incurred by theft and trickily consumed goods donated for the religious fund, for the sangha, temples, stupas and roads.
147) jyigten gwenpo lasog pe
Ghedig panglang khordhe dang
Dedug chheichhe tempa la
Kyonjywe chhelhag chhepa shyag
lokanathharule kushal, akushal tyagan
ra apnaune marga, bhavchakra ra pari
nirvanko vyakhya tatha sukha, dukha ra
aayumaap aadi dekhayekoma dosh
dekhayko ra truti ra adhik vyakhya
garekoma prayaschit gardachhu
I atone for all sins of teaching incomplete and superfluous doctrines, and criticizing the teachings given by world masters about virtue and non-virtue, what to accept and what to give up, the world and beyond, happiness and suffering, and of the measurement of the age of the Universe, and so forth.

Tensum lhakhang shigpa sog
Ngewei chhamme thollo shyag
punyako kshetra bhayka bhikshu ra hramner
hatya garera bhikshunilayi hochyayko buddha
pratima,buddhavani, stupaharu bhatkayka
upsim paap kshamayachana gardachhu
I atone for the secondary limitless non-virtues: killing Bhikshus (Monks) and Shramaneras (novices) who are as fields of virtuous karma, misbehaving Bhikshunis (nuns); destroying the three Bases (Buddha's Statues, Buddhist teachings, Stupas) of monasteries.

Daachyom sapa gyalwaeyi
Dorje kula nwepa sog
Chhamme lesag thollo shag
Mahakripalu mata, pita, acharya ra arhat badh
gareko buddha bajrakayama haani puryayko
asim papak karma kshamayachana garchhu
I atone for all limitless non-virtuous karma accumulated by killing (my) kind father, mother, teacher, an Arhat, and harming the Buddhas.

Sofag jyangtsyub sempa sog
Dedag dwendu semkye chying
Fama semchen jogsang gey
visheys : dasho`n dishaka buddha ra prithakjan aarya
bodhisattvaharu tiniharuko agadi bodhi
chitotpat gari maatapitarupi prani sambudh--
Especially before the noble Boddhisattvas of the world and the Buddhas of the ten directions, generating Boddhichitta for all sentient beings who are as kind as a father and mother -

Jyishyin madub thollo shyag
sarvagyako bhavanma puryaun
mahayan sambharyukta bhayi asheys
paamitako aacharan garera yathavat

gardachhu
- in order to take them to the Omniscient Plane; I atone for all the sins of not accomplishing the Mahayana Vows to perform the infinite perfections of the Boddhisattvas.

Guru, Ishta, Dakini ra Bajrasamayyukta
dharmpalko agadi shresth bodhi
chittotpadgari anant praniko fayida

In front of the Three Roots (Guru, Ishta, Dakini) and the Guru of Vajra Vows, the great Bodhicitta having arisen to benefit infinite sentient beings of the Universe and to accomplish the Vajra of body, speech and mind -

Siddha garna hetu ma laagipare pani atyadhik
aalashya ra klesh bhaykole

prayaschit sahit kshama yachana gardachhu
- though I have entered onto the Path of Benefitting others and of Siddhis (accomplishments) due to extreme indolence and defilement I avoided the duty of benefitting others. I atone for all these sins with great remorse.

Logta ngensem gyipa sog
Kuyi damtsig ngyampa shyag
shasanko jag aacharya ra
bajraparivar guhya(gopya) sapath grahan
garekaharuprati mithya dristi ra kuvichar gareko sabayi kayako sapath bhrast gareko
prayaschit gardachhu
I confess to protectors, Dharma-friends and the Dharma teachers who are the foundation of Dharma Doctrine for all bodily vows, accumulated by keeping wrong views and bad thinking.

Kongwei thyoga magyi te
Kashyin machyog lasog pa
Sunggy damchhig ngyampa shyag
Tantrako japa, sadhana truti gareko ra
bhapayi vidhi nagareka, yathavachan
paalana garna naskeka vachanko sapath
bhrast bhayka prayaschit garchhu
I atone for failure to follow vows of speech according to the teachings. I atone for not doing remedial rituals. I atone for interruptions in reciting and practicing mantras.

Thugkyi damtsig ngyampa shyag
upadeshko raja mahakripalu bajracharyako
ninda gareko ra guhya tantra ayogya
vyaktiharulayi sunayko chitko sapath
bhrast bhayko prayashit garchhu
I atone for failure to follow vows of mind by retelling secret teachings to inappropriate disciples. I atone for having slandered (Ninda) to the Vajra Acharya who is Great Kindness and the king of Upadesh.

Chenre shigwang lasog pei
Men ngag tselwa thollo shyog
mula ra upsapathharu bhrast bhayko sabayi
kshama yachana gardachhu. aarya
lokeshvarindriyeharuko upadesh viparit
karya gareka kshama yachana garchhu
I atone for all failure to follow vows of root and branches. I also atone for doing contrary to the instructions of Arya Lokeshwara.

gopya sabda sunayi bhavishyavyakaran
gareka tatha siddhi ra abhishek pradan

garetapani maile yathavat sadhana
nagareko prayaschit garchhu
I atone for not accomplishing Arya Tara’s instructions for benefiting self and others. Though Enlightenment had been predicted to me and I was given Siddhis and empowerments by Arya Tara, I atone for telling secret teachings only for my own benefit.

Shedub lejye ghong geowa
Dheyang ngying ne thollo shyog
bhattarak maitriyenathako darshancharya
dhyanharu truti ra badhirupama vyakya
ra sadhana garera nathko abhipray
viparit gareka ti pani hridyadekhi
prayaschit gardachhu
And I also do penance with all my heart for those deeds, which I did incorrectly, contrary to Lord Maitreya’s philosophy, by explaining incomplete and superfluous teachings, philosophies, daily activities and meditations.

amitabh buddha ra raudraguru, sengge ra
Sengdongama aadi ishtale dekhaune bhayka

I atone for any defects if there are practices which have been still not completed for achieving a luminous body according to the instructions of tutelary deities Amitabha, Daagpo, Sengge (Male Lion Faced), Sengdong Ma (Female Lion Faced) and so forth.
